Lee Aaron - "Demo Album"
Worked with Lee and guitarist John to create all tracks of a full demo album. I created and performed all bass and drum tracks. This album was then shopped around, and attracted the attention of a big-name producer for Lee's next album. Lee Aaron website
Rush - "Live concert sound"
For their "Grace Under Pressure" tour, I worked with Hugh Syme (known for his fantastic album cover work) to produce the music and effects for rear-projection videos during the concert. The autograph on the album cover reads: "To Greg: Thanx for the sounds - Geddy Lee".
Here's the on-stage video for "Distant Early Warning" showing the "Grace Under Pressure" album cover swinging into view. The sounds were mmostly generated by my Fairlight CMI Series II.
Honeymoon Suite - "Music Video"
Created sound effects for the "Burning In Love" music video set in Niagara Falls, the band's home town.
Platinum Blonde - "Concert Drum Solo"
Worked with Chris Steffler, the band's drummer, to create a high-impact concert experience for his drum solos. This included extra drum tracks that he and I created, that were triggered during his solo.
Jade - "If You're Man Enough" (Attic RRR-217)
Rock album, fronted by female vocalist Sweet Marie Black. I produced the all the drums, bass, and other sounds on the album using the Fairlight CMI. More...
Forgotten Rebels - "Boys Will Be Boys" (FR-007)
Rock EP from a guitar, bass, and drums trio. I produced the bass and drum tracks, creating and performing various parts.
Maple Metal - rock compilation (Attic MVPR-108)
Produced tracks for this compilation album, for Kid Wikkid and Jade.
Vanelle - "Tell Me" (PXD 035)
45rpm dance single. I did the Fairlight CMI rhythm and bed tracks and effects. Vincent DiGiorgio produced this one for Power Records.
Sudbury Science North - "Premier 3D Movie Feature"
Provided an orchestrated score and massive sound effects for the opening feature "nature film", which ran for several years in the custom-built theatre (actually blasted out of the rock). The 3D movie used specially-developed technology for a stunning visual effect - not silly red/green glasses, but polarized filters and two huge synchronized 70mm film projectors. Science North

Over 100 live performance recordings of a blues/ambient/spokenword jam band. Featuring Jeff Egerter on keyboards, Mark Wheeler (nephew of trumpeter Kenny Wheeler) on drums, and myself on basses and Chapman Stick.
